This page explains which personal data we process when you write to us, send a booking request or rent a car from us, why we need it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We follow Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.
1. Who processes your data
We will add the details of the data controller once they are confirmed.

2. What data we process
Contact form
Your name, e-mail, phone number, branch, subject and message. The phone number is optional, but without your name and e-mail we cannot reply.
Booking form
Your name, e-mail, phone number, customer type (private person or company), optionally the company name and company ID for companies, the chosen car, pick-up and return dates, branch and your note.
Signing the contract at the branch
When you sign the rental contract, we need details from the documents required by our rental terms: the driver's identity card or passport and driving licence, and for companies an extract from the Commercial Register and, where applicable, a power of attorney. We only use the details needed to conclude and perform the contract, to invoice and to deal with any fines, damage or insurance claims.
Technical data when you visit the website
When you submit a form, the server briefly uses your IP address to limit the number of submissions and protect the forms from automated abuse. How the website uses cookies and browser storage is described in our cookie policy.

4. How long we keep your data
- Form enquiries: for as long as it takes to deal with the enquiry and then for no more than 12 months if no contract is concluded.
- Rental contract and related data: for the term of the contract and afterwards only as long as required by law or needed to establish or defend legal claims.
- Accounting records: for the period set by the Slovak Accounting Act.
- IP address when submitting a form: only in the server's memory, for no more than 15 minutes.
- Cookies and browser storage: as listed in the table in our cookie policy.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. It is only accessible to those who help us run the website and the rental service, or to whom we must disclose it by law:
- the hosting provider whose server runs the website,
- the e-mail service provider we use to receive and send messages,
- in the event of an insurance claim, the insurer; for fines and accidents, public authorities (for example the police) where required by law or to deal with the matter,
- Google, if you switch on analytics cookies or choose to load the Google map (see below).
When traffic is measured with Google Analytics, data may also be transferred to the USA. Google LLC participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Do you have to give us your data?
Filling in the forms is voluntary. Without your contact details, however, we cannot reply or confirm a booking. The details from your documents are a condition for concluding the rental contract; without them we cannot hand over the car. The website does not use automated decision-making or profiling.
7. Your rights
With regard to your personal data, you have the right:
- of access to the data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- to erasure where there is no longer a reason to process the data (Art. 17 GDPR),
- to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- to portability of the data you have provided to us (Art. 20 GDPR),
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR),
- to withdraw your consent at any time, for example to analytics cookies; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Send us your request by e-mail or make it in person at the branch. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you believe we handle your data in breach of the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Galvaniho Business Centrum II, Galvaniho 7/B, 821 04 Bratislava, Slovakia, dataprotection.gov.sk.
8. Cookies and maps
We use essential cookies and browser storage so that the website remembers your settings. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) only run if measurement is switched on for the website and you consent to it. The interactive Google map only loads after you click it; until then nothing is sent to Google. Details and a button to change your consent are in our cookie policy.
