Car rental conditions in brief
You can rent a car if you are at least 20 and have held a category B driving licence for at least 1 year. You pay the rental and the deposit in cash at pick-up, and the deposit of €300 to €1,000 comes back to you when you return the car. The car comes with a full tank and you can take it to any EU country.

Who can rent a car
The driver must be at least 20. For some types of vehicle the minimum age may be higher. You must have held a category B driving licence for at least 1 year. Please have these documents ready when you pick up the car:
Private customers
- ID card or passport
- category B driving licence held for at least 1 year
Companies
- extract from the commercial register
- ID card and driving licence of the person who will drive
- power of attorney from the statutory representative if someone else signs the contract
What the price includes and what you pay separately
The daily price covers more than the car itself. Insurance, servicing and the Slovak motorway vignette are already paid for.

Comprehensive insurance covers damage to the rented car, for example after an accident. Third-party liability insurance pays for damage you cause to others with the car.
Deposit and excess: what is the difference
Deposit (security)
An amount you leave in cash when you pick up the car. When you return the car undamaged, refuelled and clean, you get all of it back. It depends on the car and ranges from €300 to €1,000.
Excess
The part of the damage you pay yourself after a road accident, even though the car has comprehensive insurance. It is 10%, but at least €300. If nothing happens, you pay no excess.
Example: Toyota Corolla TS 2025
- At pick-up you leave a deposit of €500. You return the car undamaged, refuelled and clean, and get the full €500 back.
- An accident causes €2,000 of damage. Ten per cent is €200, which is below the minimum, so the excess is €300.
- With €5,000 of damage the excess is 10%, so €500. Comprehensive insurance covers the rest.

Fuel: full when you get it, full when you return it
Every car is handed over with a full tank. Fill it up again before you return it. If fuel is missing, we charge the current fuel price plus 20%, so the cheapest option is to stop at a petrol station on your way to us.
How many kilometres you can drive
The mileage limit depends on the car and the length of the rental. Shorter rentals have a higher daily limit, and from 21 days the limit applies to the whole period. Each extra kilometre costs €0.15 or €0.18 incl. VAT (€0.12 or €0.15 excl. VAT), depending on the car. Unlimited mileage can be agreed. If you plan to drive more than 2,000 km, let us know in advance so we can plan servicing.
For example, the Toyota Corolla TS 2025 has a limit of 250 km per day for a 1 to 3 day rental, and each extra kilometre costs €0.15 incl. VAT (€0.12 excl. VAT).

You can drive to any EU country without further permission. Comprehensive insurance covers Slovakia and Europe. The vignette included in the price is valid in Slovakia only; you pay motorway and road tolls abroad yourself and show the receipts when you return the car.

Picking up and returning the car
You receive the car washed and cleaned, with a full tank and 1.5 l of seasonal screenwash. We do not require the screenwash to be topped up when you return the car.
- Photograph the car from all sides when you pick it up. Our rental terms recommend this too.
- Return the car at the agreed time. A rental day is 24 hours, and if you are more than 59 minutes late another day is charged.
- Pick-up or return outside opening hours is possible by arrangement for €18.45 incl. VAT (€15 excl. VAT).
- On request we can deliver the car away from the branch, for example to an airport, for €0.49 incl. VAT (€0.40 excl. VAT) per kilometre.
- We are not responsible for items left in the car. Check the boot and compartments before you hand it back.
Accident or breakdown
- Call 0948 077 077 straight away. We will tell you what to do next.
- After a road accident, call the traffic police.
- Write down the details of everyone involved.
Always report an accident or damage. If you do not, you pay the full cost of the damage. Any fines received during the rental are paid by the renter.
Cleanliness and smoking
Smoking is strictly forbidden in all our cars. If you return a car dirty, cleaning is charged according to the table below. Ordinary soiling of the interior costs between €12.30 and €246 incl. VAT (€10 to €200 excl. VAT) depending on the extent.

Cancelling a booking
If you cancel a booking, we may charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booked rental price. If your plans change, call us as early as you can.
Payment
- You pay the rental and the deposit in cash when you pick up the car.
- If you book at least 5 days ahead, we send you a proforma invoice within 24 hours. Please pay it within 48 hours, otherwise the booking is cancelled.
- Our prices are set excluding VAT, so the website shows the main price including 23% VAT with the price excluding VAT right next to it. Businesses can use the Private / Business switch in the header to show the price excluding VAT first.
